Head of Sales Development– Recruitment Software

London – £40,000 – plus £5k OTE

This European software startup is looking for a Head of Sales Development after securing £80m through 3rd round funding. The business has developed a sensational software product, created specifically to ease hiring needs throughout a range of markets and industries. After establishing themselves within the London market they now have huge plans for expansion across Europe and the U.S.

 

Role

The Head of Sales Development will be responsible for managing a team of Sales Development Representatives to find and develop new leads for the Business Development Managers. The team currently stands at 4 but going into 2020 there will be an expectation to grow the team to 10. Managing and inspiring the team to hit KPI’s and targets, the Head of Sales Development will work closely with the Sales Director to bring further success to this department.

 

Responsibilities will include

  • Lead a team of up to 10 SDRs to hit appointment targets for the BDM team
  • Recruit a further 6 employees for the team
  • Play a key role in scaling a successful business model
  • Manage and report on SDR achievements against set targets
  • Identify, prospects, pitch and close deals with senior executives in Europe
  • Develop tailored pricing proposals for software and services
  • Work closely with Sales Director to expand offerings

 

Your Experience

  • 3+ years experience as a team leader or sales manager
  • Working experience managing a team of SDRs, BDRs, Telelsales, or Telemarketers
  • Experience in a start-up is a preference
  • Working knowledge of recruitment software is a bonus
  • Ability to recruit and grow a team
  • Ambition to grow with a growing company
  • Technical aptitude and desire to master sales tools, including Salesforce.com
  • Bachelor’s Degree
