The Role:
As Operations Director you will have several integral responsibilities.
Firstly, you will be working hands-on with the client base to ensure the rollout and uptake of the platform is smooth and goes to plan.
Secondly, you will be heavily involved with the ongoing logistics as the client base gets up and running.
Thirdly, you will be a central figure in ensuring that the internal operations scale appropriately as the business grows rapidly in the coming years, this will involve working with the CTO and Development teams so that internal systems are fit for purpose as the business grows. #
This role involves the Ski, Snowboarding and Winter Sports industries across the French Alps, therefore it should come as no surprise that whilst you will be London based there will be plenty of travel to the French Alps.
The Candidate:
The Operations Director will ideally have experienced a similar journey in the past, working for a rapidly growing Tech Platform Start-Up and ensuring a smooth platform rollout and that internal system are scaled as the business grows. Therefore, experience and passion for Tech and Start-Ups are essential. As the company is involved in the Ski industry, love for Ski, Snowboarding or Winter Sports will all be hugely advantageous, as will proficiency or fluency in French.
The Package:
The basic salary for this Operations Director is within the region of £35,000 to £50,000 with commission and bonus building towards a £60,000 OTE. Additionally, it should not be overlooked that this position will give you a pathway for rapid career progression and salary progression as the company grows and expands.
