This Globally recognized organization are looking to make their first hire in New York. The company have a history of selling legal technology and research into legal firms across the world for the last 30 years. With an already established network and clients base, they now require a Commercial Manager to head up and take charge of a new office in NYC.
Role
The Commercial Manager is a critical sales leader and a rare opportunity for an entrepreneurial, innovative, and highly consultative individual who is eager to help evolve the sales landscape within legal services across the United States. You will formulate and execute a sales strategy within the country, drive revenue growth by penetrating the current customer base, and develop new customers in close conjunction with your UK colleagues.
Responsibilities will include
- Lead the execution of a consultative sales cycle into Law Firms
- Generation of new business plus managing a large number of existing accounts
- Pitch to decision-makers at Partner Level
- Negotiate, interact and develop lasting relationships
- Tip your hat to improving the brands across the U.S
- Develop tailored pricing proposals for software and services
- Attend seminars and trade shows as required
Your Experience
- 5+ years experience selling into law firms or attorneys
- Working knowledge of selling a solutions-based product – SaaS, research, or consultancy services
- Experience selling into Partner level
- Previous experience of managing a team would be a preference
- Ability to understand the client’s business problems, and lead intelligent conversations
- Ambition to grow with a growing company
- Willing to travel 50% of role across the United States
