The Role:
Working as a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business across the public, private, and voluntary sectors. Providing individuals and businesses to attend global events and conferences, with opportunities to attend as a sponsor or a delegate. Working in this fun but ambitious office in London you should have previous experience of telesales and experience of selling events or conferences. Strong focus on new business but also elements of account management will be expected in the role so you must have the ability to build rapport quickly.
The Candidate:
Looking for a highly motivated and focused individual, with experience in selling delegate or sponsorship sales into events. The candidate should have excellent new business skills, as well as account management experience, be an excellent problem solver and have the ability to manage a cycle from lead generation to sale. You will be an effective communicator, with the ability to rapidly develop rapport with your team and clients, establishing trust and loyalty to ensure repeat business.
The Package:
A basic salary of £25,000 – £30,000 is available for the right Business Development Manager with a lucrative commission structure, on target earnings will be in excess of £45,000pa.
