The Role:
In this exciting role as Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind growing the UK and European market. We are hiring the best sales talent, but being the first within the team you will be leading from the front and devising sales strategies and go to market plans. With this market-leading SAAS technology currently disrupting the commerce market, you and the team will be targeting multiple verticals, mainly focusing on enterprise companies. Working closely with senior management, you will be travelling across Europe occasionally with also potential trips to the U.S. This is a fantastic role for a Business Development Manager who wants to devise and implement a UK sales plan and reap the rewards that follow from this exciting start-up company.
The Candidate:
To excel in this Business Development role, you will have experience with a SaaS technology product and be a new business hunter (although the majority of leads are already pre-qualified). You must have CURRENT experience of selling one of the following: App Technology, disruptive tech, Advertising Technology or e-commerce technology. You will have natural leadership abilities, able to devise and implement a sales strategy and lead by example. You must be happy to do some European travel occasionally, especially frequent during your first year as BDM.
The Package:
The successful BDM will earn up to £45,000 on the basic salary, alongside a first year OTE of £60,000.
