Health & Fitness Start-up – Business Development Manager – London – OTE £70k – £80k
This is an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to work for an amazing sports start-up company based in the centre of London. My client is seeking a Sales Manager to actively develop new business opportunities. Selling across the UK and across the globe to help expand their growing brand. If you have an interest in sports, health or fitness, this is the role for you.
The Role:
As the Business Development Manager, you will close leads generated through my client’s busy website, identify your own leads, and win new business opportunities! Selling licensing to individuals such as personal trainers and gym instructors looking to host their own classes of my client’s gamified exercise experience. You will be joining a strong brand with over 30 sites in the UK and multiple appearances on TV and in print. As a Business Development Manager, you will be liaising with fitness professionals, with the aim to grow my client’s health & fitness brand throughout the world.
The Candidate:
- 3 – 5 years in B2C or B2B sales dealing with more transactional exchanges and lower average order values
- Experience in a full closing position
- You’ll have a stable career history
- Exposure to a high level of cold calling and deals with a relatively short sales cycle
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- A proven track record within previous positions
- Possess a ‘hunter’ mentality
The Package:
Although the salary package for this Business Development Executive role will be negotiable dependent on previous experience, the initial indication is a base salary of between £40,000 – £50,000 basic salary, with uncapped £35,000 OTE, plus excellent benefits. With an aggressive growth phase, this is a fantastic time to join this dynamic health & fitness company.
