Business Development Executive – Disruptive Tech Start-Up
This is a unique opportunity to join a well-backed and high-growth disruptive communications software startup. The business needs to bring in an exceptionally talented sales professional who has between 1-3 years of experience to come in and help with the amount of incoming traffic whilst also mapping some new markets.
You will be responsible for identifying strategic outbound demand generation opportunities to accomplish business growth goals. Every day will be a test as you learn how to use various sales and marketing tools whilst targeting C-Level decision-makers across a range of industries. You will play a fundamental role in setting up meetings and demos with an impressive portfolio of clients in order to understand their needs and close consultative.
The ideal candidate for this role has strong business development experience, ideally within a start-up environment. We’re looking for an individual that can build effective relationships, collaborates with peers, managers and clients whilst wearing different hats on a daily basis with the ever-growing market. You must have the ability to communicate well, and the skill to quickly and effectively build rapport. Previous experience within a tech company or knowledge of communications platforms will be a huge bonus.
The Salary package for this Business Development Executive will be negotiable depending on your experience but is between £25,000 – £35,000 with uncapped OTE which realistically will look like another £15k first year.
